Comment:
I have recently discovered that many images stay on my machine after I have (a) visited websites and (b)uninstalled programmes. I there a way that I can prevent this or is there any application that will find all these images so that I can remove them as, I presume, they must be taking up space and adversely affecting the performance of my machine. Thanks, Martin

Within Internet Explorer go to Tools, Internet Options, Advanced , Security and place a check next to "Empty temporary internet files folder when broswer is closed" Click Ok and exit the browser.
