Solved Image transfer from camera to computer

Specs: Windows Vista
I purchased a Canon T1i just over two years ago, and currently I can't get it to transfer pictures to a computer. Previously, it worked just fine in this function. Recently, I had my computer serviced to eliminate programs and malware that slowed it down. Since then, this transfer function hasn't worked. I uninstalled and then reinstalled the software via the EOS disk that came with the camera. But when I open the EOS Utility program, and then turn on the camera hooked up, per the instructions given, the direct image transfer screen does not show up on the camera's LCD monitor the way it's supposed to according to the instructions. Only the usual exposure parameters show. Also, on the computer screen, only the folder function is active. The others are grayed on the EOS Utility wizard. I would like some help with this problem. Thanks.

Hi PaulLorenz,

Uninstall the software using Revouninstaller. Perform deep scan so that it removes the saved settings and remove the software from registry as well.

Click the link mentioned below to download Revouninstaller:

Once the software is removed, restart the system and re-install the software.

If the issue persists, try resetting the camera settings to default using the link mentioned below:
