Im a casual PC gamer but recently my screen will blank out for 5 seconds and then a message will pop up saying "igfx driver has recovered from a failure". Now this wouldnt be so bad except it happens every 45 seconds in the middle of my gaming! Can anyone help me solve this?

I think igfx is Intel's graphic accelerator driver. You should check Intel website and find the latest driver for your graphics chipset and particular system.

Also a little more info about your PC would be helpful.

Please visit the following Dell support page for your particular model Inspiron E1505 and update drivers as necessary:

http://support.dell.com/support/dow...

Please be careful not to install any update that does not belong to your particular system. For this, you must know what is installed in your laptop.

You can use Device Manager or any other utility such as SIW to get information about hardware in your laptop.

You can download SIW at:

http://www.gtopala.com/

SIW is freeware.
