Comment: This was also a problem when I was using XP. I'll be browsing and for no apparent reason, IE will lock up. Some pages would load indefinately no matter how many times I'd try. I installed Firefox to test out whether it was my network connection but Firefox seems to load things okay. I don't know if anyone else has been experiencing this issue? Oh and, no, I don't want to stick with Firefox, I prefer Internet Explorer.

Reply: (edit)Try running Internet Explorer without Add-Ons (Start>All Programs>Accessories>System Tools>Internet Explorer (No Add-Ons)). If it works, then you most likely have a problem with an Internet Explorer addon. Hmm I wonder what happened to decency and morality? Doesn't anyone remember them?

Reply: (edit)If the issue is there regardless of the OS, then there is probably some software program on the machine that may be conflicting with the browser.
