Comment: This is not about my computer. I was talking to my brother on MSN Messenger. He recently purchased a new computer with Windows Vista. Sorry I don't have the other specs at this time. But everytime he starts up his computer an Internet Explorer page opens up blank. I done some research online and only found a couple of references to this problem but no solution. Any suggestions. I serched this site as well but couldn't find any matches. My apologies if its already answered here and I overlooked it.

Reply: (edit)A little more specific. Start Run:Msconfig Startup Tab ( At the top towards the right) Uncheck everything. It will be OK. Abit AN9 Fatal1ty AMD Athlon64 X2 6000 3.0Ghz Corsair 2x1024 DDR2 800 BFG Geforce7950 SLi 320GB WD HDD 160GB WD HDD 40GB WD HDD 650W PSU

Reply: (edit)You may want to check and see if there is anything launching up on startup using msconfig and Windows Defender. "Enough, enough bowing down to disillusion! Hats off & applause to rogues & evolution! The ripple effect is too good not to mention. If you’re not affected, you’re not paying attention!"
