OS: Vista Ultimate
CPU/Ram: P4 2.0 3gb Ram
Model/Manufacturer: generic
Comment:

Cannot close IE 7. Clicking top left, top right and taskbar all fail to close.
Ctrl Alt Del is the eventual way to close.
Is there some way to effect a repair. Have not got a 'good' system restore point.

What an odd problem. When did this start and have you noticed any other strange activity on your pc?

Has been like this for several weeks.
The screen goes Blank, but the Favorities remain and there are a few icons at the top, such as the one for Home etc
Have anti virus installed. Have not noticed any unusual activity.
The action of closing remains the same, never changes.
Very strange. Not aware of a repair option.
