Specs: Windows Vista
Chrome does not work, but maybe because I also have IE9 and AOL? My job requires my using Chrome? Must I choose between browsers and if so, how do I specify the one I want to use?

You can have as many browsers as you want installed. When Chrome starts you should be asked if you want it set as your default browser (so that it is the one that opens from email links & suchlike), you just select 'Yes'.

You can start Chrome from a desktop icon if one was created or from Start/All Programs.

If it isn't working then try downloading & installing it again. Make sure you use a correct link - the one on the Google homepage is probably easies.

Hi glamorgirl2,

If uninstalling and re-installing Google Chrome does not fix the issue.

Uninstall Google Chrome using Revouninstaller. Click the link mentioned below for Revouninstaller:

Perform a deep scan to remove the registry entries for the application.

NOTE: Backing up the registry is recommended.

Restart the system and then try re-installing the Google Chrome. Install it from Google homepage as recommended by "johnr".

If it still does not open from the desktop or start menu, refer to the link mentioned below:

Thanks & Regards

one of the biggest problems I have found with Google chrome is a browser high jacker called every time I install chrome it takes over and I have to uninstall it all over again and it,s bad for your pc as it takes and releases your personal info I have also found it does this with fire fox as well so I now tend to steer clear of them
