Comment: *TURN YOUR IMAGES ON!* Runs just fine, even with Aero enabled. Microsoft and their minimum requirement BS. :P This is a first-gen P3-550. You know, the big cartridge-style P3 with external L2 cache? Yet it still runs OK. Remember when people were saying that Vista would require dual-core 4GHz CPUs and 4 gigs of RAM to run?

Reply: (edit)Didn't time it, but I remember putting in the disk and setting it up at around 8:00 and when I came back at 9:30 it was all finished. So it took less than 1:30.

Reply: (edit)how much memory does that system have? I wanted to try it out on my spare p3 866 which has 192 megs, but i assume that it only works with 512 or higher.

Reply: (edit)There were some issues with the P3's that suggested that they could be better than what the replacement was on some stuff. Might be that vista does run fine on a P3 and not a dual Xeon P4.
