hi everyone, this might be a virus but i need some help I don't have any idea how to work with computer but going in the internet lol. so pls help!!! ok I download a program right after i hit run a black window pups up and look like it was running programs,so I closed the window and nothing happen, I dicided that I din'd want the program so I deleted but i also deleted some other staff , right after that i noticed all my icon were looking different, they all look like a paper with a E logo on them, when I click them I window try to open but this window pups-up"file downlodind" run ro save... I hit run and the same window pups-up againg, I try to run my anti-virus but I can't when I hit run this same window pups-up,.. I also tried to restore my computer... nothing is working but if I go to start and click on the internet it'll work but all the other files in the start won't work... pls help if you have any idea what's going on with my computer let me know.. thanks

snau thanks for the reply but I have no idea what other files I deleted... I deleted every file the look wire to me lol stupit I know but now I don't know what to do, I try to restore my computer but when I hit run this window pup-up, im going crazy I try running my anti-virus but I can't

servin13, Instead of using Run choose Save then save it to your hard drive (maybe My Documents), then double click it to unzip it then right click the reg file and choose "merge"..

servin13, Go to that link and follow the instructions under "Usage instructions" for that exe fix. The reg file is the file that is extracted after you right click the zip file and choose exract all. then you would right click on the reg file and choose merge and it will merge the contents into your registry.

hi,hey I download the file exe from the link, saved it to my documents, download winzip to open the file but the computer won't let me use winzip to open the document, I saw in the link this is for a desktop I have a laptop does this matter?

servin13, Since you're using Windows Vista you don't need winzip since Windows Vista has the ability to open zip files. Go to that file that you downloaded and right click it and choose
"Extract All" and extract to your My Documents folder.then that reg file will appear. Then you would right click on that .reg file and choose "Merge". This fix is for desktops as well as laptops.Tufenuf

the name of the file is exefix_vista, when I right click on it, this is what I get:
open
share
scan with spyware
restore p. version
send to
cut
copy
create shortcut
delete
rename
propertiesI don't get extract all or merge, probably am doing something wrong right?

servin13, Something is screwed up, Try double left clicking on that exefix_vista file and see what happens. Post back with the result. I'll be here for a short time today.

lol its funny when I click it this window is trying to pup-up iy, then this small window pups up and said that my files has been send to drafts.

servin13, I really wish I could help you but without knowing which files you deleted there's not much anyone can do. If you have a friend who is computer savy have them look at your computer.
