i cant delete files from start menu

March 4, 2009 at 09:46:41
Specs: Windows Vista

i am using Windows Vista and i've got some files (programs shortcuts) in my start menu that i cannot delete.
i've tried to remove them from the start menu properties through "remove" and "customise" but i could not find those files, although they are present in the start menu.
i cannot even open those programs and the right-click menu does not appear when i right-click them. i think that the shortcut is broken or something

i've also tried searching for those shortcuts and i did find them under this folder: "C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\" and when i tried to delete them, it said "Could not find this item. This is no longer located in C:\$Recycle.Bin\Recycle Bin. Verify this item's location and try again"
n.b. the file size is 0 bytes

i hope you could help me with this problem

... can you see the S/cuts by R/click > start open {ALL users, Explore, open}

... navigate n explore n delete/unpin? etc
