Comment: I have a HP desktop and it came configured with a 400GB drive that is partitioned into a C and a D drive. The D is designated the recovery drive and it is only about 6 gig. The other day I was transferring files from my old computer over and I accidentally pasted a large amount of files onto the D drive instead of the C. The result is that my D is now 99.8% full and I constantly get these Vista messages telling me my Recovery Drive is full.... "click here to fix the problem." As you can guess, "clicking here to fix the problem" has not been helpful. It won't let me see many of the files in the D drive and the ones that I can see seem to be legitimately part of the recovery partition and are not the ones that I accidentally pasted there. How do I see all the files on the recovery drive so I can delete the ones I don't want on there? MZ

Reply: (edit)mszimmer, Look HERE. This HP article explain why these errors occur and provide the proper procedures to fix it. Read it carefully. Lastly remember to DELETE ONLY WHAT YOU ACCIDENTIALLY PASTED AND NOTHING ELSE OR YOUR RECOVERY OPTIONS MAY NO LONGER WORK. i_Xp/VistaUser
