According to HP drivers site (CLICK ME), HP Deskjet 995c Printer is not supported in Windows Vista. Below is HP's apology:

We are sorry to inform you that there will be no Windows Vista support available for your HP product.

Therefore your product will not work with Windows Vista. The majority of HP products not supported in Windows Vista are beyond seven years old.

If you are using the Windows Vista operating system on your computer, please consider upgrading to a newer HP product that is supported on Windows Vista. HP has numerous products on the market that support Windows Vista.

There is still hope ..... someone from here with the same printer -- HP Deskjet 995CK -- claims they got theirs working by using the Deskjet 990c driver included in Vista. Try that!

Thanks, but that didn't work for me.... I have a new laptop with Vista already installed, so I couldn't get the site to download the drivers. It assumes I have a 990c and just ... plug it in. And, of course when I plugged in my 995ck it won't recognize it. Any other thoughts, or should I just go and buy and Epson?
