how to undo Restored to HP factory settings?

Specs: Windows XP
i have lost all my stuff by mistakenly restoring factory settings when i was trying to get a retore point. is there any way to get back to where i was or have i lost it all?

If the restore was from an image there is no recovery. If an automated install data recovery may be possible.

You could try GetDataBack, by Runtime. It will do a free scan to see if it can recover your data, now to be able to copy your files you have to pay, but atleast you will be able to see if it can recover them first. The more tampering with other solutions the less likely recovery is. Vista's destructive format writes 0's in all spaces(unlike XP) which can make recovery impossible, but its worth a shot if you have alot of valuable data. I used the software and bought the whole bundle.
