I dont use mouse, i use the bottom, and i have windows vista... Can some one plz tell me how to fix this, when i tap (not click) on the left click it clicks? WHY???? And when i click on a scroll it wont let me let go of the scroll. Can some one help... folder option is already set to double click. Ty
"I dont use mouse, i use the bottom" Bottom ??? I never heard a touchpad called a "bottom" (if that's what you mean).
Go into Control Panel > Mouse > Touchpad (tab) and adjust the settings like sensitivity etc.Or use a regular mouse like me - I hate touchpads. Get a small wireless mouse with a nano receiver and you'll find it easy to carry around in your laptop bag.
Another problem may be lack of drivers I have only experienced this with a few laptops, but when the drivers have not been installed the touchpad will keep on "clicking" when not in use (made editing documents a real pain!).
I would try phil's suggestion first ... as this only affects certain laptops with a synaptics touch pad
