I have windows Vista home premium Laptop.... just 1 days ago, August 3rd, I'd mistakenly press enter when I computer showed me a window. I didn't really see what was written there. So, as I pressed ENTER, my computer restarted, and my computer disk checking, then, when I opened the "My Computer," the "D" drive wasn't there.

at that time, I had my thumb drive connected to my computer, and after restarting, the thumb drive file system was changed to "FAT" itself.

can any1 please tell me what I need to do to bring that "D" drive back to my computer????

right click on computer and press 'properties' to the left of that window you see 'device manager' open that.

under CD/DVD drives do you see the drive?

and about the thumb drive, are you saying it changed file systems on its own?
