i was on my laptop one day deleted useless programs on control panel. About an hour later i downloaded limewire i tried to change the volume and my sound wouldnt work it just kept saying windows audio service is not working. i went to sound and it said everything was working fine but when i tried to test the sound it said (failed to play test tone) now i dont know what to do

Try removing your sound device from device manager and refreshing the list of hardware so PnP re-installs it.

i disabled it then enabled it nothing happened should i delete it from the list completely? if i did how would i get it back? are there anyother ways to do it?
