Your computer likely has a recovery partition which is for times like this where you wish to format and start over. How to access the recovery partiton is dependent on the make model. It could be in the manufacturers applications or it could be a F11, F10 or something like that, key pressed when the computer is first booting. Pay attention when you first start up the computer and see if there any F keys for "system recovery" or "factory restore". If you do, it will take you to a menu and give you some recovery options, like "Factory restore image". If you have a manual, recovery options are usually in the manual. If there is no recovery partition, then you can borrow someone who has a usb dvd player to format the machine....assuming you have the disks. You can look up your recovery options online from the maker of your computer.....a good place to start.
