hi
i am new to windows vista since yesterday.
i was previously using windows xp professional. i would like to save my ebay webpages as i buy and sell small items regularly. i tried to save an ebay webpage in vista both as webpage complete and webpage archive but vista says "the page could not be saved"
how do i save a webpage in vista and are there any other programs or software, preferably free, that i could use to do this.
i look forward to your replies.

A free application (Vista compatible) that I found very recently and am extremely happy with is BullZip.

BullZip lets you print a webpage to your harddrive in PDF format, you print the page like you would to a printer but you can choose to save it where you want when you select the BullZip printer.

There are plenty of options like watermark and password protecting the pdf files.

btk1w1,

Do you happen to know that BullZip PDF Printer is a limited free edition of the PDF Writer from bioPDF? If you use PDF Writer (cost $29, no trialware (I think)) you will have more choices to configure and manipulate the output.

Heya XpUser,

Thanks for the heads-up, I didn't realise it had a big brother.

Judging by the quality of BullZip, bioPDF PDF Writer is definitely a software worth considering.

Cheers.

You might also try a different browser (FF3 is ofcourse nice) if you're interested in saving the the page as HTML :)

Are you using IE 7 with the Service Packs? The .mht archive format is designed for this in IE. It is not supported in other browsers.

I have used it for a long time.

Do you have MICROSOFT ONE NOTE installed on your machine?before it was also a problem of mine,By using MICROSOFT ONE NOTE you can save the entire web page, first click the print button on your toolbar, print option dialog box will then apear, double click the option "SEND TO ONE NOTE" and wait for ONE NOTE to open click FILE button and choose SAVE AS you can then choose in SAVE FILE AS what format you want to save it
Hope this will help
