Hi ok so here is my problem i woke up one night decided to go onto my laptop. When i loaded it before it got to your logon the screen went black after about 5 minutes the mouse appeared another 7-9 minutes and suddedly something appeared but half a second later the screen goes blue and nothing else happens.

... you are displaying "OS: Windows XP" in your spec's
... either way tap "F8" key @ boot-up select "repair" option if you have Vista
.... select "safe mode" if its XP
... once in safe mode click "no" on the "pop-up" that should guide you to system restore
... select a restore point by altering the restore calendar to a time when the pc was working fine.
