Okay, I'm thinking of getting the Windows Vista Home Premium upgrade pack. I have just reinstalled XP, to ensure a clean upgrade, and I have the latest service pack builds. I've got an Nvidia GeForce 7600GS, and an AMD 3800+, with 1 GB RAM, and Windows XP Pro SP2.

Here are my Q's:
1. Will I DEFINETLY be able to run the windows Aero Skin with my current parts?

2. Will all of my current games work, without having to make any adjustments, after installing windows Vista?

3. If I upgrade, is there anything I should back up just in case something goes wrong?

2. if your current game is Solitaire it will must likely run (although i read about problems with vista soltaire :-), if you're talking about 3d games, you may want to read this thread:

Okay, well most of the games I play are:

Counter Strike: Source, Halo (and what ever happened to Halo 2 for Vista?), Battlefield 2142, and Battlefield 2, Half-Life 2 (ep.1 and gmod as well), Day of Defeat: Source, and.. a few demos.
