Subject: HELP! Music Duplicates In Vista
OS: Vista
CPU/Ram: 2g
Model/Manufacturer: HP 9700z
Comment:

When I loaded my music from a backup to Vista, it created duplicates in the inaccessible My Music folder, eating up an additional 30g of memory. I have mapped them in DOS, so I know they exist. How do I get rid of them?!?!?!

What do you mean by the inaccessible "My Music" folder?

In Vista, the hitherto "My Music" folder in XP is just an NTFS junction for your X:\Users\User_name\Music folder.

As Sabertooth said no such folder exists in Vista, if it does then you put it there.
If you want help with this , it will help to tell exactly what you did, explain your backup procedure, what you used to backup to where and how you restored it.
Was this a clean instalation on a new drive/partition or an update.
As for your comment "I have mapped them in DOS, so I know they exist." there is no Dos in Vista.
There is a command line, but it's not DOS.
