Subject: HELP! Music Duplicates In VistaOS: VistaCPU/Ram: 2gModel/Manufacturer: HP 9700z |
Comment: When I loaded my music from a backup to Vista, it created duplicates in the inaccessible My Music folder, eating up an additional 30g of memory. I have mapped them in DOS, so I know they exist. How do I get rid of them?!?!?!

Reply: (edit)As Sabertooth said no such folder exists in Vista, if it does then you put it there. If you want help with this , it will help to tell exactly what you did, explain your backup procedure, what you used to backup to where and how you restored it. Was this a clean instalation on a new drive/partition or an update. As for your comment "I have mapped them in DOS, so I know they exist." there is no Dos in Vista. There is a command line, but it's not DOS.
