I have a security dongle designed to be plugged into a parallel port. I bought a new laptop with no parallel port. Any way to convert a USB port into a female parallel port?

I bought a USB port replicator to resolve the problem. However, then I found that some software only detect physical parallel port but not the virtual one created by the replicator.

Thus, it wasted my money and I got stuck now.
