Specs: Windows Vista
I have two drives on my computer: C and D. I
have all my music files and photos on D. The
only thing on my C drive are program and
registry. I have a 90 gig hard drive and only 30
gigs free. I have no idea what is filling it up. I
have done registry cleaners, spyware,
malware, de-fragmented, pitstop optimized,
ccleaner- everything that I have read to fix the
The problem is my computer is getting hot-but
the fan is working properly I believe.

I need to find out what is filling up my C drive.
Thanks so much for any information!!

If your using XP/Vista it is most likely your restore points. It can take up to 30% of your drive.

Windows 7 fixes this problem, you can set the amount of space for your restore points.

You can also do that in xp and vista. It's not to hard, just Google "Adjust restore point space"

Best of Luck

Thanks for the help. I checked and it said that it was only using
12 gb max. Is that enough to worry about? Is there anything
else it could be?
