My hard drive seems to be continuously on and it it causing the computer to slow down so much that it is almost unusable. It seems to be ok in safe mode. I have ran spybot and malwarebytes which found 3 infections but it is still doing it. At start-up i get 2 messages that windows cannot open "sign bin mail.od5mi" and "newsafesafe.mjp6j". How can i find out what is making the hard drive run for so long? Thank you

A Google search of "mail.od5mi" only brings up items in Polish, if you can read them go for it.

Hard drive could be failing. Can check the control panel, then administrative tools, event viewer, windows events, system.....check for hdisk errors. Or more precisely use a diagnostic disk program to test the hard drive, most manufacturers offer a free download for their disks.
