hard disk size decreasing

hii i hav an hp laptop running on windows vista home premium but i found the c drive partition size decreasing day by dayby 500 mb to 1 gb i dono whas the exact problem n one more thing is can i delete the folder softaware files on c drive which inever did create awaitngg a quick replyyyyyy

The correct terminalogy raavs is your available disk space is shrinking. A size of a partition is static and does not change once created [unless you have real serious problems :-)]
