I just got a compaq computer. It's a amd athlon 3500+,1gb of ram ect... It came with windows vista home premium.According to windows the video card is a NVIDIA GeForce 6150 LE. Now what would be better for a temporary solution the card that came with the computer or an older asus 128mb geforce 6600? Thanks,
Whichever runs the coolest(less heat) and functions well, is the best choice.
Take your time and find out for your self.

Useless answer.
The 6150LE isn't a card at all, it's integrated into the motherboard. The 6600 is much better...the model number alone should make that obvious. However, you didn't provide enough info. Is the 6600 an AGP or PCI-E card? If it's an AGP card, chances are you won't be able to use it.

I wouldn't bother with the x1050, it looks pretty dang crap. Chances are its worse than the onboard 6150LE. Just use the 6600, its a relatively good card.
