Hi, I'm thinking of installing a beta of Vista I downloaded a while ago. I recently bought an up to date graphics card so I could use the Aero theme on Vista. However, my graphics card doesn't support PixelShader 2.0. However, it does have 'SmartShader'. Here's a link to the other specs of my graphics card:

Can I somehow use Aero? I'm really desperate to try it out :(

Oh, and on another note, the Vista Upgrade Advisor says my 'USB Enhanced Controller' (or something) won't work on Vista. I assume this means USB 2.0 will not work. Will my USB ports still work (But with USB 1.1 technology)? Or will they not work at all?

Thanks :)

Unfortunately, no AERO glass for you with your 9250, I'm not sure why you did not buy a true DX9 card when you knew you wanted to run AERO glass.

I definitely wouldn't call that, in Vista terms, an "up to date graphics card."

At this point you're probably better off waiting for the line of DirectX 10 cards to hit and getting one of those as your next upgrade.
