Comment: Okay, after reading several dicusssions about Vista SP1 with their new 10.1 graphic cards what's left for the 10.0? Does it mean that 10.0 hardware won't work anymore? Or does it and not just the new 10.1 gamers?

Reply: Your problem is nothing to be sorry about. Any time soon, somebody's DX10.1 card will be obsolete because DX10.2 or even DX11 will be out. About a year ago, I bought a 40-inch LCD HDTv that supports 1080i. That was a WOW that time. Now it is obsolete because HDTvs that boast 1080p are already abundant in the market and are much much cheaper than what I paid then for my now-obselete Tv set. Regards SuatCINI

Reply: MS needs to stop adding to the feature set. They are making hardware obsolete before it even hits the shelves! Just update the API and make improvements and bug fixes, stop introducing all these freaking new features! This is the very reason I am more of an OpenGL fan, but even OpenGL keeps on getting updated just to keep up with the new features in DX. ITS FREAKING RETARDED!! I could understand a new feature set every 5 or so years, but not every freaking realease! Hell OpenGL 1.2 was the standard for what? 10 years or so? DOWN WITH DIRECTX!!!!
