Gigaware Optical Travel Mouse not installing

August 4, 2010 at 17:40:17
Specs: Windows Vista
I just bought a new Gigaware Optical Travel Mouse with Retractable Cable, when I plugged into my laptop it lights up, but doesn't work. My OS is Windows Vista. It usually recognizes new hardware and installs it. But this time no reaction. Plus this mouse did't come with any CD. I need help to installed it. Thank you.

have you tried it in a different usb port?
sometimes it does need to be left a while for vista to recognise something has been added? (XP used to be much worse).
can you try it on a different pc to see if it is recognised?
maybe try using the add/ detect new hardware feature via your laptops touchpad?
finally all i can think of is maybe see if they're drivers available for the mouse and install them first (i had a usb wifi dongle that would do this until you installed the drivers first)
