Has anyone successfully clone a vista Enterprise desktop/laptop with Ghost Enterprise 8? I've got a desktop/laptop that I've installed Vista on it and cloned it using Ghost Ent. 8. But, when I try to clone an identical desktop/laptop, it would give crap out and display an error DOS based window that says " Windows Boot Manager" "Windows failed to start. A recent hardware or software change might be the cause. To fix the problem: 1. Insert your Windows installation disk and restart your computer. 2. Chose your language settings, and then click "Next". 3. Click "Repair your computer." If you do not have this disc, contact your system administrator or computer manufacturer for assistance. File: \Windows\system32\winload.exe Status: 0xc000000e Info: The selected entry could not be loaded because the application is missing or corrupt."

Norton ghost can copy almost any OS. You can copy bit to bit if file mode doesn't work, need to copy the entire drive. There are online tutorials at the symantec site. I have only seen QNX cause some issues. Consider ghost for linux or ghost for unix or even simple dd. I read it wrong and answer it wrong too. So get off my case you peanut.

Sorry for posting this, after posting - I went to symantec's download site and downloaded the Ghost Ent. 11 and ghosted the vista machine. Works like a champ. Sorry again for jumping the gun.
