how do i get rid of underlined links on web pages? changed the tools>internet options>underline links>never, restarted explorer, but they still come up!
Very easy - just don't go to the web. Otherwise click on this underlined link ... So, You Don't Want Links Underlined, Huh?
P.S. Without giving underlinked link (it's part of HTML - the very engine that drives WWW) - how else are we able to provide links other than to ask you to copy & paste the same link below within the parenthesis for the same page in the underlined link above?

Now tell us - which of the two variation makes life easier for you.

Thanks for that. I found the info to get rid of the double underlined green links and popup ads: Tools>Internet Options>Security>Restricted Zone>Site - Add http://www.us.intellitxt.com/, http://www.tacoda.net/, http://www.kontera.com/
I think its the "double underscore" links that the person was asking about not the single underlined URL links.
I read somewhere that they could be prevented by making an entry in the Local Host parameter. (127.0.0.0 or similar)
I don't recall where I found that and would like to try it.
