How can I connect to my computer from someone elses,for example how would I be able to look at my documents from someone`s computer.Also this someone`s computer is not on my network.I am a lone computer with Verizon Fios as my provider1 person needs an answer

There are many many ways to access remote files. If both people are at the computer then many messenger type applications can do that. I have used Acrobat.com connect now to go across some very difficult devices with zero config. Might start with that. Playing to the angels Les Paul (1915-2009)
