Hey i've got a rather big problem that i need help and assistance with. Firstly i will give you my specifications of my computer:
-Windows Vista Home Basic
- Acer Aspire SA90
- Intel Celeron D CPU 3.46 GHZ
- 894 MB Ram
- Direct X 10
Graphics Card
- SIS Mirage 3 graphics
- 188 MB MemoryNow my problem is when i try to run games they are not slow but hardly move at all. lyk it takes approx. half a minute to move one frame (if you can imagine that). Im pretty sure it has enough memory 2 run as i used the performance monitor while running the game 2 check but i noticed the CPU hits 100% straight away. and as soon as i exit it goes back 2 around 16% so yea i would appreciate any help or ideas as to how i can fix the problem. Here are the min. specs for one of the games:
- • 3D Hardware Accelerator Card required - 100% DirectX® 9.0c compatible 32MB Hardware T&L-capable video card and latest drivers*
. English version of Microsoft® Windows® 98SE/ME/2000/XP
• Pentium® III 800 MHz or Athlon™ 800MHz processor or higher
• 256MB RAM
• 8x Speed CD-ROM drive (1200KB/sec sustained transfer rate) and latest drivers
• 650 MB of uncompressed free hard disk space (plus 500MB for Windows® swap file)
• 100% DirectX® 9.0c compatible 16-bit sound card and latest drivers
• 100% Windows® 98SE/ME/2000/XP compatible mouse, keyboard and latest drivers
• DirectX® 9.0c (included)
• Updated Windows Media® Player 9 Codecs
• 800 x 600 Monitor Resolution.

You made the same mistake a lot of people do: buying a budget non-gaming machine & hoping to somehow finagle the system into decent gamer.
Sorry -- that's just not going to happen :-(

My computer is not slow it simply can't run the game well properly. It has enough memory to run both vista and the game and the cpu is 3.46 GHZ which as i understand is quite high. I also know its not the com's speed as with this game not only its main application doesn't run properly but another application with it (which basically needs no memory 2 run at all) has the same effect on it.

As I hinted in response #1, where you fell short on selecting the Aspire SA90 -- as is -- for gaming is underscored by the "memory stealing" integrated graphics chipset & not just any but one from the arguably inferior performing SiS lineup.
Also, in case you missed it; the GHz race was over a long time ago. Secondly, just because a system is equipped with a "3.46GHz" CPU, this does not mean the processor's potential performance is going to be "quite high". FYI, there are CPU's that run at half that clock that will flat-out outperform the 3.46GHz.
To end this on the bright side, your Aspire SA90 has an extra PCI-Express x16 slot, in case you end up where you are & need to upgrade to a discrete graphics card.
