i installed the new ghostbusters game and it ran terribly slow, i have an hp pavillion with 4gb ram and amd turion x2 tl-60 2.00ghz processor. this is a 64bit vista op. system. no other programs were running

If I'm not mistaken, the turion x2 tl-60 is a laptop processor. Most laptops come with integrated graphics on the motherboard. If your laptop didn't come with a dedicated video card then this is probably the cause of your lag. If you do have integrated graphics, then there's not really much you can do. But there is one thing you can try: try to lower the resolution & detail settings if you can. This could make it easier for your computer to handle. Post if you have any more questions.
