Comment:

I have a Hewlett Packard Media Centre PC, model# m8525f, with Vista on it. I would like to format and install a copy of XP Pro on it. When I boot from my XP disc, I eventually come to a blue screen basically stating that it does not recognize my SATA hard drive. I get the following error messages:

*** Stop: 0X0000007E (0XC0000005, 0XF748E0BF, 0XF78DA208, 0XF78D9F08)
*** pci.sys - Address F748E0BF base at F7487000, Datestamp 3b7d855c

I have no clue what either of these mean. I have done a bit of research and believe that I need to install certain drivers so that XP recognizes my SATA drives. I am not exactly sure how to do this. As well, my computer does not have a floppy drive. Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks.
