Flash 10 install problems

Adobe Flash pro cs4 10.0 upgrade for win
December 17, 2009 at 15:41:40
Specs: Windows Vista, Core 2 Duo/4GB
I can "successfully" install the Flash 10 player for IE 8 and it works fine until I log out or restart the machine. Once I log in again, Flash seems to not be installed. (e.g. on Youtube I get the "You need to install Flash..." message. I've tried installing Flash more than 10 times without success.
This problem started recently when the Adobe Download manager automatically uptdated the Flash player. Previously, Flash has installed and worked flawlessly. What could be going on?

Check out the link below.

I'd uninstall the FlashPlayer uing their uninstaller (Windows: uninstall_flash_player.exe (205 KB) (updated 12/08/09)) which you can get at the link below. Instructions are on the page.

After uninstalling it reinstall it. Make sure that you uncheck the google toolbar if you don't want it prior to installing the FlashPlayer.

Thanks very much for the reply!

Alas, I've tried doing exactly what you suggest several times using their uninstaller which I downloaded. I still have the problem. Thanks anyway!
