Comment:

I purchased a Western Digital external hard drive (60 gig) with the expressed idea of using it for a mirror backup image of Vista. Problem I have is that it is not NTFS. Is it possible to format this drive with NTFS so I can use it for Vista Backup. Thanks for any and all suggestions

A 60GB Hd can easily be filled to capacity. You should have bought a bigger one.

To do mirror backup you will need to buy something like this.

XPUser, you don't need Acronis to do a mirror backup with Vista.

My bad - you're rite - it's available only in Vista Business, Ultimate, & Enterprise editions according to this page. For those using other Vista editions, Acronis may be the way to go I guess.
