Explorer.exe-Bad Image, What should i do...?

Microsoft Windows vista business - 32-bi...
June 19, 2010 at 16:58:12
Specs: Windows Vista
Now it all started when I was trying to use a new theme for my computer and tried to set settings to make my desktop prettier and all that.
One of the instructions told me to switch the browseui.dll with the one she provided. So i switched it around and restarted my computer.
I got to the log in page fine but after i try logging in, a message pops up saying "c:\Windows\system32\BROWSEUI.dll is either not designed to run on Windows or it contains an error. Try Installing the program again using the original installation media or contact your system admistrator or the software vendor for support."

the screen at the back is completely black and when i press "ok", my screen still remains black and i cant function anything other then task manager =o=. Am I doomed and need to take the computer to fixing or can I fix this myself?
Experts, please do help me :( I'm a total noob when it comes to computers

Someone suggested me to use system restore function but i dont think tahts possible because I cant even log in properly.. Please help! D:

Reboot and press F8 to enter safe mode, once into safe mode try and select a restore date prior to the cause of the problem.
