Hi to all,

I had to reinstall Vista from scratch on my laptop, as I was so stupid as to try to upgrade to Windows 7, which ended in a pure disaster... but this is not the issue.

Problem is that now, explorer.exe is constantly consuming 45 to 50% of the CPU, although nothing is working. This was definitely not the case in the previous installation. Could anybody help me to fix this issue ?

Thanks in advance - Claude B

Hi,

forget it and dorry for the disturbance. I found out a couple of processes which I should inhibit from launching at start time and which cause the problem. Claude
