Explorer restarts on search

When I type "Adobe" in the search bar in the Vista start menu, I get the message that Explorer has stopped working. Explorer then restarts. This only happens with the word "Adobe". I know I can avoid typing "Adobe" but I was just curious what might cause this and if it's a symptom of further problems down the road.

The error log shows the following (I changed the name of my computer for security reasons):

Unable to remove Windows Search Service indexed data for user 'mycomputername\Administrator' in response to user profile deletion. Error code 0x80070422.

The service cannot be started, either because it is disabled or because it has no enabled devices associated with it.
