everything on my computer keeps erasing

i recently dowloaded a driver for my printer onto my laptop. a few days later when i turned my computer on, all of my stuff was erased: my entire i-tunes library, all of the pictures i had saved, all of my favorites, my background, my hompage, my passwords, and my history. and everytime i turn my computer on, its the same thing. how do i fix it?????????

Did someone put any software on your computer like Deep Freeze. This software restores your computer back to original format once restarted. Mostly business use this for the don't have to worry about employee screwing up there workstations.

no, no one stored any software. the only thing i did differen was install the driver for my printer

It seems the most important thing is to get back what you have lost , try Recuva , a free recovery utility .


I should also do a complete Virus scan , there is some malware that deletes files , Try Malwarebytes Antimalware as well ,
