|It would help to know the exact message you are getting, particularly the name of the actual filename, as it could be a legitimate piece of software that your system needs, or it could be the remains of something that has been removed by your security program.|
Either way, to stop the error message, type msconfig.exe into the 'run' box in the Start menu, or search for it and run it from the search box.. Then under the 'startup' tab look for the particular entry that you are getting the error message about and remove the tick against it. Click 'OK' and restart your computer, check its gone, and see if all of your programs are running ok.
As a more permanent fix, download and install CCleaner from http://majorgeeks.com/CCleaner_Slim... install it and under the 'tools/startup' section delete the entry that causes the error.
