I've been trying to install an application (TiVo desktop) on Vista 64 bit. I turned off User accounts and ran as administrator. I followed every procedure and recommendation I could find including submitting the log files (which kicked back as undelivereable) all to no avail. Can anyone give me a hint of how to get this in? I even uninstalled and reinstalled Java run time. I can't find anything else to try. I've never gotten any version of this software to run on the current op system (others have succeeded) but had no problem with XP. I'd really love some help with this.

Lynn

Run the installation again as admin, but this time do it in XP SP2 compatibility mode.

I did it all till I practically knew it by heart and it didn't work. I tried it on all different versions too. The 2.4 didn't work because it knew I didn't really have XP and SP2 even though I said to run in that mode. I just don't understand how others are succeeding and I'm not. I'm not stupid but I'm starting to feel that way.
