dvd/cd-rw problem

whenever i try to open a disc i get a pop up that says please insert disc, the drive has no errors in device manager and shows up in my computer. any help?

Go to device manager > select cd/dvd , right click disable and then enable.
Now check, If problem still same then you can uninstall it and update the driver.

There is auto diagnostics/fix package on the Microsoft site which may help...
