I recently made a data cd-r which contains .rar files. The cd was made using my dell desktop pc which had XP OS and the first thing i did was tested it out and it worked even on a diff xp pc, now currently im on a trip and im trying to access that cd-r using my laptop Acer 5520-5739 which is using Vista and it wont work for some reason. It appears as a blank CD and every time i click it, a box appears and says prepare this blank cd. Later then i used a differnt cd, well a dvd movie and it worked perfectly fine. and i think its just the cd-r data file vista wont let me access any ideas why im getting this problem? its reading it but its appearing as a blank cd all my 3 data cd-r files do that
btw i also did the upper and lower thingy using regedit but that didnt help.
