Reply: (edit)I posted that link because it details how to go about setting up a dual boot machine where the newer OS is already installed & the older hasn't. The proper way to dual boot Vista & Server 2003 is to have Vista installed last. In your case, installing Server 2003 after Vista is going to mess up Vista's boot loader, because what Server 2003 installation will see is an unrecognized boot sector & thus overwrite it. However, if Vista is installed last, it will recognize the boot sector established by Server 2003 & add "Server 2003" to the boot loader's list of operating systems & you can select which one to boot from. To summarize: it really doesn't matter what OS you intend to dual boot Vista with, XP; Server 2003; the deal is: you need to install the older OS first .... kapish?
