Comment:

hi all ,
running xp media center , put the vista ultimate disc in the drive and it doesnt recognise it , just shows a read me file , tried in both dvd drives and it does the same , and if i click on the drive to open it , it says This disc contains a "UDF" file system and requires an operating system
that supports the ISO-13346 "UDF" file system specification. any ideas why and how to resolve the problem.
many thanks
dave

For some reason I thought there is a way to update the udf in xp to read a Vista dvd.

Vista went to a new format version for udf on their burning app in Vista.

I guess you might need to use a Virtual Machine , install Vista and then read it.??

"Best Practices", Event viewer, host file, perfmon, antivirus, anti-spyware, Live CD's, backups, are in my top 10
