Comment: I was jsut wondering if there had been any Vista specific drivers annouced by C-Media. Also are the inbuilt drivers for the Geforce4 440 MX any decent? By this I mean do they offer the full power that the card can do (albiet limited power that is:P). I noticed there is no Nvida forceware with support for this aging card for Vista. My main system XP Pro SP2 handles fine with the card and is still supported yay :). If there are no drivers for my CMI9671 81 I'm going to try my Xp ones and hope for the best. Anyways thanks regards Lupin3rd

Reply: (edit)Just curious to know how you can run Vista relaying on a so aged graphic card. My system passed the Vista ready test with that exception, marked as no Aero compliant, while Aero interface the main improvement offered.

Reply: (edit)It ran quite good, obviously without Aero. I did have a Geforce 6 6600 which would have run it all just fine but that randomly died on me. I can't even try my sound card drivers now, as when I got home the other day and switched hard drives to the one I put Vista on, it has died on me as well, tested ribbon cable and power socket, and in several other machines :' I'm not intrested in Aero really at all, however when I get some money I will be upgrading Ram to DDR400 (PC3200) Probably 1 or 2 gig at first and then considering getting a Geforce 6 6800Ultra or the Geforce 7 7800GS XFX Extreme Edition since I'm not going to replace my board any time soon to PCIe.
