Driver IRQL not less or equal

Specs: Windows vista premium
I just got a brand new laptop from Best Buy about a week ago, and i've barely gotten anything on it. Just last night though as I tried to run my Yahoo and MSN messengers, I had several glitches with the keys and the programs continuously shut down as i'd reopen them. THen I started getting blue screens of death. I didn't catch all the errors at first, only that one said Bad_Pool_Header, another saying Driver IRQL not less or equal, and An attempt was made to execute to non executable. I looked up previous threads on Driver irql not less or equal and it seems to be a driver related problem. To my knowledge, I haven't installed any new drivers. I have an Nvidia Geforce 9800M GS. could it have anything to do with the video card? Also the crashing is becoming more frequent and it makes it nearly impossible to operate on the laptop. Someone help please!

Driver IRQ not less or equal is very common error message for multiple situations. It can be a sympton of hdd failure, file system failure, memory problem or anything similar. Mostly caused by data handling problems.

That error message shouls say at the bottom, which driver or service caused this event. Check this picture and look at the last few lines and search for WYXZ.SYS. Something similar you should be looking from your BSOD information. Give us that driver name and stop code (0x00....) so it might be easier to help. :)
