Subject: Driver for DVBT USB Dongle
OS: Vista Ultimate 32
CPU/Ram: P4 2.8 / 2GB
Model/Manufacturer: IBM
Comment:

I bought a DVBT USB Dongle, but it was not supplied with a vista driver.

The supplied CD was marked with Model No A55/A05+. I used this to find out it was made by a (chinese?) company called Shenzhen Forward.

However, I can't find any drivers, particuarly vista ones.

Any ideas?

I have USB digital TV device too but had no driver disk - i'd lost it.

But when I plugged it in whilst running Vista, the wizard was able to find a driver online. Have you tried this?

Yes, but it didn't work. Thanks though!

I did find the driver though - i think. Here:

But ... now I need a driver for the onboard sound!

It is an IBM ThinkCentre S50 8429-KG7.
And I think - from what I've seen on the website its an ADI 1981B soundchip. IBM don't list a vista driver - just wondered if anyone knew if there was one anywhere.

Cheers, Chris

Hi Chris,

Have you tried the manufactures website?

a quick search revealed this:

I think this may be your driver, give it a try.
